I’m reading an amazing book called THE COMPLETE TURTLE TRADER by Michael W. Covel. It is the story of how 23 novice investors became overnight millionaires. Not really “overnight” but in a shorter time than it takes the majority of people. It’s kinda like the movie Trading Places…You know nurture vs. nature. If you or someone you know is interested in the world of Wall Street and how it has evolved and who were the big players, you’ve got to read this book.

I’m that person who always wants to be a student of the game. For me, before I start doing one trade, I have to understand the psychology of the business, the history of the business and how it has evolved. It’s not about the money with me, it’s more about the freedom that comes from learning something that has been long reserved for the wealthy. There’s so much to the global markets and Forex is something I knew nothing about. If I ask 10 people if they have ever heard of Forex, 99% of the time, I get “NO” “I heard it was risky” or “my friend lost a lot of money doing that” If I ask them to explain what they know, it’s even worse.

Even if you don’t want to get involved, at least be a little curious to understand how it works……it might surprise you. It did me and I’m planning to become a Forex trader no matter how long it takes.
